PRSM Association Honors Jaclyn Frenzel of AFM with Retail Industry Award

Frenzel to be recognized for achievement at PRSM2015 National Conference DALLAS – April 14, 2015 – The Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association, (PRSM), the authority on retail, multi-site facilities management, announced today Jaclyn R. Frenzel, Vice President of Business Development and Operations at American Facilities Maintenance, Inc. (AFM) will receive its 2015 Vendor of the Year Award to be presented at PRSM2015 National Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 PRSM’s Vendor of the Year Award is presented annually and honors performance excellence by a supplier to the retail facilities maintenance industry. Frenzel entered the multi-site facilities management industry in 2009 as Vice President with AFM and was promoted to partner shortly thereafter. Prior to working for AFM, Inc. she worked for five years as a lobbyist for the Building Industry Association. Frenzel and her husband have a two-year old son. She volunteers for several charities and organizations in her hometown of Stockton, California. Frenzel became involved in PRSM Association in 2010 and immediately began leading efforts to help unite members for the greater good of the retail industry. Since 2010 she has been an active member of the Membership and Networking Committees, whose goals center around enhancing the member experience. In 2014, she led the creation and implementation of PRSM’s annual Coast2Coast PRSM LIVE networking events. PRSM LIVE Coast2Coast mixers are held in as many as 15 cities across North America. These events have now become a fixture of the current PRSM LIVE program. “The PRSM LIVE events and especially the Coast2Coast component are increasingly popular and provide valuable networking opportunities for FM professionals. In fact, I wondered why it took so long! The dedication and effort that Jaclyn puts into ensuring that our clients’ every need be met, be it budget, quality of service or completing emergency tasks at extreme short notice and at all hours of the day or night, often runs counter to her own family time. Jaclyn is not merely an AFM leader, she leads the entire team to lead the facilities maintenance departments of our clients,” said Mahesh Ranchhod , CFO, AFM, Inc. In addition to supporting AFM’s internal operations she also works hand-in-hand with select retail clients. Recently an AFM client was having difficulty obtaining consistent grand opening cleanliness, due to the nature of their construction program and rapid pace of opening 2-3 locations per week. In her leadership role, Jaclyn unified the customer’s construction department, project superintendents, general contractors and conversion managers and devised a strategy and plan to help the customer streamline its cleaning processes, with a focus on accountability, scheduling, supervising and driving consistency throughout the portfolio.
